It's official-- Joe and I are grandparents! December 3, Miles was born. We are so excited to welcome sweet little guy into our lives and I must say, he has put a spell on me!
He is too young to comprehend all of the hoopla of the holidays, and it reminds me of the true meaning of this time of year. Spend time with family. Hug a friend and tell them how much they mean to you. Do something nice for a stranger. Be spontaneous. Sip hot cocoa (maybe add a dash of tequila) and call a faraway friend. Play your favorite Christmas music while you make your favorite Christmas cookies.
I plan to do all of the above. Plus, I'm making a few dishes inspired by this year’s travels to share at our small family gathering to celebrate the holidays. Here's the menu:
