I am so excited to travel again I can hardly stand it. Seriously, my bags are packed, and I'm ready to go! And luckily, things are looking much, much brighter these days. It's a great feeling, isn't it? And guess what? I'm here to help!
Let's start with Italy because whether it's your first time or you've been here 10 times, this is the ultimate food and wine destination. Or you might have a special region of Italy on your bucket list? Don't worry! I've got you covered! First, Tuscany is a must, and if you've never been, all I can say is that it's so much better than all of the glorious hype you've heard! Imagine rolling hills and gorgeous countryside dotted with picturesque hilltop towns and miles of vineyards producing world-class wines… Then picture yourself in our private 16th century beautifully renovated villa is full of exquisite Italian frescoes and surrounded by lush gardens with olive and citrus trees. And we even have our own vintage wood-fired pizza oven! Ready to pack your bags? Mine is already packed!
Oh, and do you hear the waves crashing on the rocks and the stunning island of Capri calling you? Then let's go to the Amalfi Coast! This is where majestic scenery meets a laid-back lifestyle. With its dramatic jagged cliffs, glistening Mediterranean Sea, bowls of handmade shellfish pasta, and the best pizza on earth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to savor every single morsel. And again, I have a fabulous villa with unparalleled views waiting for us to call it home for the week.
Or maybe you're feeling like Sicily is calling you. I have taken groups to Sicily so many times, and some guests have returned twice. This place will make you fall in love for sure. The views from this extraordinary villa are over the top. In one direction, you see Mount Etna, and from the other, the Ionian Sea. Yes, Sicily has it all in spades. We'll cook together in the expansive, well-equipped kitchen and taste outstanding wines. Then we'll head out to visit the infamous fish market of Catania, the island of Ortigia, and everyone's favorite hilltop town, Taormina.
Wherever we go, we're destined to have an incredible time!
