View in browser Hi friends, Hurray for Spring! Hurray for vaccines!! Things are looking up, and as the NYT recently noted, the travel bug has us ready to go literally "anywhere"! So let's head north of San Francisco to the rolling hills of Sonoma Wine Country, just minutes from one of my favorite towns, -- Healdsburg.  With its Mediterranean climate, lush vineyards, and olive groves, Sonoma is an incredible place to enjoy a few days with a dozen other food and wine-loving friends. The stars have aligned, and I found the perfect place. Check out this new event! I've taken care of all the details and for our 3-night, 4-day culinary adventure. We'll stay in an elegant, private villa in the heart of Sonoma.  Our gorgeous villa is airy and serene, with some of the most incredible views on earth. From the moment we enter the gorgeous estate and take in the fragrant lavender to when we lay eyes on our expansive swimming pool overlooking Alexander Valley, this is the kind of place we have all been craving. Sonoma is home to organic farms, beautiful seafood, artisanal cheeses and bread, hand-crafted cured meats, wines, and we will indulge in it all! We'll head to our spacious and fully loaded kitchen, where I'll teach you how to make fig leaf-wrapped Pacific salmon with a dried fig and walnut salsa verde, or locally raised chicken that we cook under a brick!  We could also sear some ribeye on a Himalayan salt block and serve it in a salad along with a chilled soup and homemade focaccia. If we're feeling adventurous, we could even make a giant paella outdoors!  Whatever we make, we can enjoy our meal together at a long farm table in front of the fireplace or dine al fresco and take in the scenery. Oh, and let's not forget the wine! With easy access to some of the most exquisite wineries in the area, this place will give us a chance to get the real Sonoma wine country experience.
