It was Valentine’s day my first year of college and a package arrived for me at my dorm. I looked at the return address and knew that there would be something sweet inside. Whether it was a handwritten card, a little gift or something she baked, my mom always made us kids feel special on Valentine's day. So when I tore into the box and saw an array of her delicious homemade cookies, it was like she was there giving me the warmest hug!
