The crew and I have been on the road, meeting growers, fishermen and artisan butchers all over California and beyond.  They are so passionate about what they grow and produce and they’re the inspiration for the show’s recipes. Believe me, this series is bursting with flavor and dishes that you’re going to want to cook! In each episode, I venture out to get the best ingredients from California’s walnut orchards, huge tomato farms, fig growers or farmers' markets and show you first-hand the amount of care that goes into each ingredient.  From expertly crafted cheeses to delicious varieties of citrus I’d never even heard of, we’ll see it all!  I even fished for salmon in the beautiful waters of Alaska. ALASKA!! Now that was amazing.
