Ever since Joe and I spent our honeymoon in Greece, I have been searching for an excuse to get back there. And I've finally found it! There's an unspoiled Cycladic island, just a quick ferry ride from Athens, which has managed to resist the pressures of time and it's the perfect spot to immerse ourselves in the Greek way of life.
We’ll cook with my friends, Aglaia and Costas, in their kitchen. You’ll love harvesting grape leaves to make dolmas, using a mastelo to roast lamb and wrapping the freshest fish in fig leaves to roast on the fire. Of course, we’ll taste amazing cheeses and wine too. Visits to markets, local artisans and craftsman are definitely on the agenda.
Want to really absorb the Greek island lifestyle? We’ll stay the beautiful Porto Kea suites, just steps from the beach. Picture yourself on your private veranda, chilled glass of white wine in hand, gazing out at the azure blue Adriatic Sea and dreaming about what we will cook together for dinner.

Imagine sailing up the Grand Canal in Venice heading towards Piazza San Marco! We’ll get off the boat and wander the romantic streets, grab a glass of prosecco, maybe a little Venetian tapas and stroll through the Rialto Market.
Venice is one of my favorite cities in the world and we’ll be sure to take full advantage on our full day trip there, but there is so much more to explore in this incredible region. You will perfect your risotto-making skills with a local rice grower and we'll done together al fresco overlooking the vineyards at the villa of winemaker friend, Carlo Nirozzi.
We'll stay at the Serego Alghieri, an unparalleled -villa estate and immerse ourselves in the beautiful Valpolicello countryside. The kitchen is gorgeous and we’ll take advantage of it during hands-on cooking classes. We’ll make the specialties of the region, such as Risotto with Amarone, Shellfish Salad with Salsa Verde, and Almond and Polenta "Cookies" called sbrisolona.
