What a Summer I've had- warm weather, beaches, picnics and lazy naps under the trees…well, not quite! It started with hours upon hours spent brainstorming ideas. Then came the details: gathering the crew; planning all of the logistics; packing and unpacking; rigging, writing, shopping, prepping and hair fluffing. When everything was finally in place, it was "Lights, camera, action!"!! That's right, my summer was spent filming for my brand new TV series and finally, "It's a wrap!"
Imagine a crew walking into your home at the break of dawn, toting cameras and everything else needed to make the show happen, and, get this, they're all smiling! It was a ton of work, but so much fun! I can't give you all of the details yet, but let's just say that this show is going to be really FRESH… The recipes are inspired by farmers, artisan butchers, cheese makers and are bursting with flavor. My Producer, Paul Swensen, thinks this might be our best series yet and we can't wait to show you some of the incredible places where we filmed, including Alaska!
