For the last few weeks, I’ve been traveling around for the annual IACP Conference visiting Chicago and doing some video taping in New York. I have to admit that although living in the Bay Area with such a mild climate may have some (maybe many) advantages, I miss the anticipation and excitement that comes with a true change of seasons. Really!!
When I grew up in Massachusetts, the first glimpse of spring made me want to pick daffodils, eat dandelion greens and run outside and thank the sun for coming back to us! The bright green fresh grass and spring flowers popping up everywhere seem to make everyone feel happy and the arrival of spring vegetables makes people like us want to cook. I thought I’d share some recipes to capture the essence of spring with hopes that I can inspire you to gather some friends and celebrate the start of the season.
Now that you know all of my tricks, pick a recipe and prepare to amaze yourself (and your sweetie!):
Bon Appetit!
