Who doesn’t love tequila? In this tequila-inspired cooking weekend, I’ll teach you how to prepare delicious small-plate recipes and cocktails that will get the new year off to a great start! To start the weekend, we’ll have a welcome cocktail reception at my restaurant, Copita in Sausalito and then on Saturday and Sunday we’ll cook a variety of tapas in my studio kitchen (the same one you see on TV!). With recipes like savory Chorizo Hand Pies, Halibut Ceviche, Grilled Kobe Flank Steak Tacos with our homemade tortillas and Mexican Chocolate Souffles with Tequila-Chipotle Creme Anglaise. This is the perfect class to get you ready to host a really fun party with ease.

Taste of Tuscany Weekend Cooking Course

San Francisco | April 5 & 6, 2014

I can’t imagine a better way to spend the weekend than cooking some delicious food from Tuscany. With all the great ingredients we have at our fingertips and the right techniques, it’s easy to recreate the same delicious flavors you’d find in this celebrated region of Italy. During this weekend, we’ll immerse ourselves in Tuscan menus that highlight the season. Whether we make Pizza with Tender Parsley, Prosciutto di Parma and Shaved Parmigiano Reggiano, Ribollita Soup, Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli, or dishes like Artichoke and Lemon Fritters, “Pollo Forte” and Ricotta Gnocchi, and we’ll be sure to make some fabulous desserts for a grand finale. Of course we’ll taste delicious Tuscan wines that pair with the meals we’ve prepared!

Pizza & Pasta Weekend - 3 Day Cooking Course

Join me in San Francisco and learn to make Pizza and Pasta, just like the Italians! Over the years through my travels to this wonderful country, my bag of cooking tricks has grown and I can’t wait to share some secrets with you. Join me in San Francisco and I’ll teach you the art of making homemade pasta, exceptional pizza crust and most importantly, how to combine these techniques with fantastic seasonal ingredients. This is one of my favorite courses to teach because we all love to eat them. What can be better than learning to make homemade pizza and pasta at home. Plus, it’s fun! We’ll cook in the same kitchen used for my TV show each day enjoying the fruits of our labor with special hand selected wines. You may even get lucky and taste some award-winning Joanne Weir Wines.
