Wintertime has always brought about memories of snowy days in New England and the incredible smell of something delicious coming from the kitchen. It is fitting that over the past several weeks I was creating and testing recipes for my new cookbook, due to be released later this year. My kitchen smelled of spices, luxurious stews, and freshly baked pizza from morning to night. Each dish had to be tested to ensure that all of the techniques are perfectly explained and every dish tasted delicious. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it!
Many of the recipes in the book are from my new TV series, Cooking Confidence, while others were inspired by the gorgeous ingredients and a desire to teach you how to best use them. I am so excited to share some of the recipes with you now and look forward to hearing how you like them.
