Holiday Entertaining
Let's face it, entertaining friends at home seems like a great idea, until about 3 hours before the guests arrive! We all know the feeling- all of the careful preparation can go out the window when those final moments unfold. But Mom once told me, "Relax. It's just food...and friends". Believe me, whether I am cooking at my restaurant or filming my TV show, I repeat this mantra daily. This holiday season, I thought I'd share some of my favorite low-stress, make-ahead and delicious recipes to give you that extra boost of confidence for your next dinner party. These may just inspire you to host one tonight!
All of these dishes are my top dinner-party choices and can be prepared in advance! The lamb is one of my all-time favorites and can be made early in the day and then just heat and slice when you're ready to eat. The sauce is foolproof and almost makes itself! The semifreddo can be made up to 3 days ahead! Just get all of the salad ingredients together and toss it with the vinaigrette at the last minute. Turn on the music, pour some great wine and enjoy!

Wishing you the Happiest of Holidays,
Joanne Weir
